Selected Individual Experience

2 Bond Street, New York, NY – 2018-Ongoing

This historic building, which abuts one of the few true alleyways in Manhattan, was constructed in approximately 1900. KTA was retained to perform historically appropriate repairs to the building’s facades. In 2011, KTA performed repairs at the cast-iron storefront and street-facing elevation. Currently, KTA is performing façade repairs at the alleyway and remaining elevations, as well as roof repairs. The project involved obtaining Landmarks approval and the design of appropriate brownstone, masonry, and cast-iron repairs.

283 West 11th Street, New York, NY – 2018-Ongoing

A 6-story multi-family residential building located within the Greenwich Village Historic District and constructed in 1901. KTA was brought on-board to perform a conditions survey and provide recommendations for an exterior restoration program. The project involved extensive brownstone, masonry, and stucco repairs in order to restore historic conditions.

355 Quincy Street, Brooklyn, NY – 2018-Ongoing

This building is a classic 3-story Brooklyn brownstone in the dynamic Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood. KTA was engaged to design façade, stoop, and front entry repairs, as well as window replacement. The repairs at this project will restore lost and missing historic details and iconic features such as the cast-iron newel posts, round-top wood windows, and brownstone window surround profiles.
