501 Broadway/72 Mercer is a recently constructed seven-story building with loft residences. 501 Broadway is the primary facade and 72 Mercer is the secondary facade. The building is part of the SoHo Cast Iron Historic District in the SoHo neighborhood of Manhattan. The scope of work involved façade repairs precipitated by a FISP inspection and report. The repairs involved full dismantling, painting, and reinstallation of the rain screen panel facade system. In addition, KTA obtained LPC approval to permanently remove select panels from the façade via public hearing.
